The Künstlermuseum Heikendorf is showing colored woodcuts by the painter and graphic artist Oscar Droege, who could have celebrated his 120th birthday this year. In addition to Droeges work, they present color woodcuts by the Flensburg-based artist Nikolaus Störtenbecker (born 1940) and Berlin-based graphic artist Eva Pietzcker (born 1966).
In the historical studio house they also show historical Japanese woodcuts in the exhibition:
Manga - Bijinga - Shunga (= spontaneous drawings - beautiful women - love games) from the collection of the Kunststiftung Spielmann-Hoppe.
