Klaus Schiffermüller's artistic focus is on landscape painting and is at the same time characterized by the search for abstract color-harmonic considerations. His works are characterized by an intense, exaggerated color, which stands on the border to abstraction, yet the motifs are recognizable as landscapes.
Schiffermüller usually leaves architectural and infrastructural interventions of man in the landscape before, limits itself at most to signs of human influence in agriculture and forestry. Schiffermüller's works all have their own color harmonies, his intention is to grasp the sensual character of his surroundings and from a personal and exaggerated perspective.
The works of Schiffermüller are complemented by sculptures by the wood sculptor Korbinian Huber and by landscape paintings by Bernhard Maria Fuchs.
