No picture of me is possible without dangast
Movie about the painter Franz Radziwill and the Franz Radziwill House in Dngast
The famous painter Franz Radziwill would have been 125 this year.
He spent 60 years of his life in Dangast. This is where most of his paintings, which are highly valued on the international art market today, were created. The small fisherman's house, which he expanded and designed according to his own plans, has been preserved in its original state and, as a "brick artist biography", represents a total work of art.
The Franz Radziwill Society has set itself the task of presenting the painter's work to the public and has been showing exhibitions that change annually in his former living and studio house since 1987.
The film presents the painter, his work and his house in Dangast and gives insights into the anniversary exhibitions in Dangast and Oldenburg.
