Haus im Schluh
Im Schluh 35-37, Worpswede

Perhaps inspired by the colorful collections of toys and curios in the homes of some Worpswede artists, the young writer Ursula Ziebarth began to collect toys, folk art and antique objects on her private expeditions through all continents. This collection grew to her death in 2018 to the astonishing size of about 40,000 objects. In nine cellars in the vicinity of her Berlin apartment she gradually created Wunderkammern of the art of the cultures of this world. Out of her love for Worpswede, the house in the Schluh and the Martha Vogelers family, she had a strong desire to have the collection transferred to Worpswede after her death. For the first time a part of this spectacular collection will be shown publicly in two cabinets of the Haus im Schluh.
