From June 28 to July 25, 2023, the small town in the southeast of Lippe will once again be a hive of activity. The Summer Academy in Schwalenberg with its work houses will once again open its doors to participants interested in art, who will come to Schwalenberg from all over Germany to once again spend creative and inspiring hours in the seclusion and scenic beauty. It is still possible to book courses in drawing and nude drawing with Debora Kim. The last week of the Summer Academy will be a course in outdoor firing with Jaimun Kim. For lovers of ceramic processing and design, there are still a few places available. So get your hands on them!
The large-scale project conceived by the town of Schieder-Schwalenberg and the Lippe Regional Association is finding more and more resonance with new offers. The Open House on July 13, 2023 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. is a popular program item during the Summer Academy explains Vera Scheef from the cultural agency. Dagmar Diekmann and Vera Kunas offer courses on painting at the Werkhaus in Schwalenberg from October 9 to 13 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. and brand new is the graffiti course for young people at Sternberg Castle with Philipp Hiller from October 10 to 12, 2023 from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m.
“This is a great offer for young people who spray works of art with the spray can on the castle grounds in good weather with Philipp Hiller, who started his artistic career as a gifted landscape painter with the graffiti technique. It doesn’t get any better than this! adds Vera Scheef.”
