Special exhibition “Latvian Landscapes. From the Latvian National Art Museum” / Lettische Landschaften. Aus dem Lettischen Nationalen Kunstmuseum“

It is a small sensation that we can present you this great exhibition in cooperation with the Latvian National Art Museum in Riga. The exhibition includes about 55 paintings and prints by the most important Latvian landscape painters. It gives an insight into the development of Latvian art from the second half of the 19th century to the 1930s. The collection includes representations of rural and urban landscapes. The cultivation of cultural exchange with our neighbors in the Baltic Sea region is an important concern of our museum. This show is a special highlight in this respect.
