Twenty Years of Katwijk En Plein Air – Painting by the Sea
DUNAatelier Celebrates Anniversary with Large Exhibition
Experience Katwijk through the eyes of “our artists.” For twenty years, the event ‘Katwijk En Plein Air, painting by the sea’ has brought together a unique collection of artworks thanks to a wide variety of Dutch and international professional artists: from oil and acrylic on canvas to watercolors, drawings, and woodcuts.
This special exhibition offers a broad overview of these twenty years from the collections of artists, private collectors, and our own Stichting Kunstvereeniging Katwijk.
We are presenting around 100 works by more than forty inspiring artists who have participated over the years. Many of these artworks are for sale. Works that are not for sale are clearly marked.
The majority of our loyal participants are taking part again.
Among others, Peter Smit, Gineke Zikken, Anna Pavlova, Bram Stoof, Maarten Welbergen, Wendelien Schönfeld, Kris Spinhoven, and Sonja Brussen have submitted works. Also on display are works by Roos Schuring, Ben Rikken, Titus Meeuws, Janneke Viegers, and Dirck Nab. A unique overview of two decades!
The exhibition at the Katwijk DUNAatelier runs from November 15, 2025, to January 11, 2026, and is open Friday to Sunday from 1:30 PM to 4:30 PM. Admission is free.
The DUNAatelier is located at Strandplein, near the Vuurbaak, where a path leads to the beach and a parking lot next to the DUNAatelier with paid parking.
