CHRISTIANE VOSGERAU – SCULPTURES
At first, it is just a stone – hard, sharp-edged, marked by fractures or saw cuts.
What is it meant to become?
Everything is already within – it just needs to be uncovered, or so they say. How does it begin?
Most of the time, Christiane Vosgerau simply starts – following an intuition or the shape of the stone itself. Sometimes, however, there is a plan, a vision.
What seems to stand in the way is removed. Through the working process, lines and edges emerge, depths contrast with heights. The stone seems to dictate its own direction. Every strike follows the next, seemingly at random – until a sculpture has taken shape. A being revealed from within being – lying, standing, or floating.
It was all already there.
Over the years and through her work in different places and under diverse influences, Christiane Vosgerau has developed a unique signature – shaped by the phases of life and inspired by great sculptors such as Hans Arp and Alexander Archipenko.

JOACHIM ONNEN – PAINTINGS
Joachim Onnen lives in Friedrichsfehn. His passion lies in abstract painting.
Creativity played an important role in his life from an early age – but it wasn’t until 2017 that he found his way back to art, guided and inspired by a professional mentor.
Since then, he has devoted himself to abstract painting with great enthusiasm – free from rules, creating purely from within.
His works often evolve over extended periods. Some paintings accompany him for weeks or even months, constantly changing until they finally find their true expression.
Joachim Onnen loves to experiment with color and form – with sharp edges, vibrant surfaces, and a dynamic interplay of structure and spontaneity.

CAROLA BÜHRMANN – PHOTOGRAPHY
Carola Bührmann is a passionate photographer. Originally coming from a background in biology, her interest in photography has grown steadily over the years. As a self-taught artist, she discovered how deeply meaningful the connection with people in front of her camera is to her.
Her aim is to make visible what lies within her subjects – joy, dreams, fears… But also the act of creating something together plays a major role in her photographic work. She can lose herself in time and space, immersing in the person and using the available light in an experimental way.
She loves to develop her images in black and white – usually with strong contrasts and often with an unflinching gaze.
