THE HIDDEN GEOMETRIES OF FORM

Group exhibition in collaboration with the Accademia di Belle Arti, Venice

On August 29, 2025, the City Museum of Chiusa will open the exhibition The Hidden Geometries of Form, organized in collaboration with the Accademia di Belle Arti in Venice and curated by Professors Mauro Zocchetta, Patrizia Lovato, and art historian Marina Manfredi.

The exhibition presents around one hundred drawings created by students from the courses in Artistic Anatomy, led by Professors Zocchetta and Lovato at the Accademia di Belle Arti in Venice. This joint project highlights the results of an interdisciplinary collaboration between artistic anatomy and art history.

Particularly detailed analytical studies are devoted to Paolo Pagani’s altarpiece Saint Anthony of Padua, Saint Francis of Assisi with God the Father, the Child, and Angels and Albrecht Dürer’s engraving Nemesis—both works being integral parts of the Chiusa museum’s permanent collection.
