From 22 March to 17 August, the city of Chiusa will be conquered by works of art!
An exhibition that starts at the Brixen Gate and leads through the historic centre, stopping off at twenty-one public institutions as part of the “Art in the Old Town” project, before finally taking visitors to the town museum. The exhibition treasure comes from the Trentino-Alto Adige Regional Property Office, and the concept was developed under Ass. Waltraud Deeg with the title “La Regione fuori dai vetri”.
This is a joint development project aimed at promoting and enhancing the Autonomous Region of Trentino-Alto Adige in order to strengthen its territorial and historical identity and create development opportunities in the municipalities.
This event is realised thanks to the joint planning between individual and collective, public and private resources of the territory. The Civic Museum and the Municipality of Chiusa with the Autonomous Region of Trentino-Alto Adige as the main actors, supported by numerous public and private sponsors, are the Partners of this spring and summer exhibition. 92 of the most renowned works from the region’s important artistic heritage, from Depero to Dallabrida, from Bergman to Vallazza, from Eccel to Moroder-Lusenberg, will be on display in the shop windows of the historic centre and in the town museum.
These greats of regional art will be joined by the creative potential of the three artists Jakob de Chirico, Irmgard Gamper Delmonego, Markus Moling, the designer Alex Terzariol and the young people from the KAOS youth centre, who will artistically reinterpret a ball of wool.
