Bettina Heinen-Ayech and the artists’ colony Solingen

Bettina Heinen-Ayech (1937–2020) and her life’s work are once again at the center of the art world’s attention. A renaissance of this significant painter is underway: she was recently included among the 50 most important women in the history of North Rhine-Westphalia. The exhibition presents a selection of her works, complemented by pieces from other key figures of the historic Solingen artist colony, located not far from the exhibition venue.
