City – Country – Resonance / Printmaking in Dialogue
“CITY COUNTRY RESONANCE | Printmaking in Dialogue” brings together contemporary artistic positions by 14 artists from the metropolis of Berlin and the rural region of Ostwestfalen-Lippe. In a revival of printmaking, the contrasting environments of city and countryside — two profoundly different spaces that shape artistic practice — enter into dialogue.
Using a variety of traditional printmaking techniques, the artists engage in collaborative and layered printing processes. Experimental and dynamic unique prints emerge from this exchange. Through the complex interaction of different artistic signatures, innovative urban-rural spaces of experience are created.
