Great-Granddaughter of Walter Kühne Living in Sweden Visits Jamlitz
At the heart of the “Swedish Week” is the Sweden-based artist Anuschka Seiffert, who will present her sculptures in an open-air setting while also creating new works on site.
As the great-granddaughter of Walter Kühne, she will first be introduced to the history of Jamlitz through guided tours of the former artists’ colony as well as the memorial sites.
On the grounds of the Jamlitz artist Walter Kühne (1875–1956), an open-air exhibition will emerge that engages with the history of the place while connecting Nordic inspiration with the local culture of remembrance.
Nature, memory, and art intertwine here to create an intense encounter, making the visit a truly special experience.
Opening Hours:
Saturdays and Sundays: 10:00 am–12:00 pm and 3:00 pm–5:00 pm | Weekdays by appointment
Preparations, insights, and small discoveries from the week will be shared on our Instagram account: @kunstundkultur.jamlitz
