Photographs of musicians on and behind the stage, in the concert hall or on the street capture unusual perspectives — fleeting moments, seized in a split second, that audiences rarely get to see. Displayed in colour and in black and white, the exhibited photographs catch musicians in direct, intimate, spontaneous snapshots, freezing the rapid flow of their movements. The images evoke emotions that are simply contagious. They tell of the concentration before a performance, the ecstasy on stage, the complete absorption in the music, and the joyful relief at the sound of applause — unique moments in time that almost make you forget the music can no longer be heard.
