Natalia Dik, Reflection: a fusion of illusion and reality

Natalia Dik presents an overview of the paintings she has made in the Netherlands over the past twenty-two years.

The professional artist Natalia Dik was born in Russia and has lived and worked in the Netherlands since 2004. She trained at the Repin Academy in St Petersburg, among other places. To mark her 65th birthday, a selection of the paintings she made in the Netherlands is on show: portraits, landscapes, seascapes, still lifes and views of towns and villages, including Katwijk. Over the years she has taken part in various painting festivals, among them events organised by DUNAatelier in Katwijk. Looking across the years, you can see how her brushwork and palette have changed: they have become more fleeting, and she increasingly uses softer, greyer tones.

Opening hours: The exhibition can be visited from 9 October to 15 November at DUNAatelier, Duinplein, Boulevard Zeezijde 31, 2225 BB Katwijk (near the Vuurbaak lighthouse).
Friday to Sunday, 13.30 to 16.30. Admission free.
Paid parking is available on the site in front of DUNAatelier or in the car park under the dune.
